Q: How long do I need to devote to this? My family is really busy…not sure if I can complete this?
A: The total time investment is about 3-4 hours but it varies from family to family. You don’t have to complete the conference lessons in 7 days, if you want to take your time you absolutely can with a Smart Social Membership.
Q: How does the conference work?
A: When you buy a ticket you get to access the conference materials until February 28th, 2019. After that, you may join Smart Social Membership to keep your materials for as long as you are a member. As a member, you also will be able to unlock all of our other events and workshops to protect your family.
Q: Where is the conference located?
A: At your home or office. Because this is an online conference, there is no physical venue and no travel expenses.
Q: How long do I have access to the conference content?
A: Until February 28th, 2019. Or unlock it for as long as you want with Smart Social Membership.
Q: I’m not a technical person, is this suitable for me?
A: Yes. This conference is for all beginners and tech-savvy parents. The only prerequisite for the conference is a willingness to take action and do the work! You do NOT need to have any additional monitoring apps or tools. We will show you how to keep your family safe online with the tools you already have. But you have to be open to learning and taking action!
Q: My child doesn’t have a phone or any social media. Is this conference for me?
A: Yes - we will teach you how to help your student develop a healthy relationship with screen time and prepare for a positive digital footprint in their future.
Q: My child never makes any mistakes on social media. Is this conference for me?
A: Yes - we will teach you how to build upon your child’s positive digital footprint so they can stand out from the competition when applying to their dream college or job.
Q: I’m not sure what apps my children use - is that okay?
A: You will be given the tools and framework to figure out which networks they’re on and how to monitor their activity.
